Body Building/Body-Building_59.txt

The desire to develop strong, toned and attractive body have encouraged many to take up this popular form of sport, but what exactly is body building anyway? Body building is a form of sports that people engage in to develop muscular, toned bodies through the use of controlled nutrition and diet plus intensive targeted physical training; this is mainly done for the purpose of developing a strong and muscular physique to look good or to compete in various body building competitions. It is very difficult to resist the appeal of professional and amateur bodybuilders who have developed strong solid muscles through persistent effort and hard work. With all the appeal that body building offers, how do you ensure that all standards will be realized and the main criteria shall be fulfilled? The best way to achieve all of the above requirements is through the right use of weight training and the food combination.

Every successful body building program needs a systematic and effective weight lifting program. Regular weight lifting sessions is essential, so you would need physical strength and endurance to cope with the demands of the program. Weight lifting is often linked to sporting events, but there are plenty of non-athletes who perform weight lifting routines for aesthetic purposes. The effect of weight lifting on the entire body has attracted many to start their own program, especially those who need to recover from a recent serious injury. It is good to include weight lifting into any health or rehabilitation program, under the strict guidance of a medical professional.

The next element of a successful body building program is the use of proper diet. Normally, experts recommend taking 40% protein rich food every day, while maintaining 40% of carbohydrates and the balance to consist of 20% healthy fats. The best form of carbohydrates would be complex sources. Select food that is rich in carbohydrates for that fast energy such as brown rice, sweet potato and oatmeal. It is important to consume a lot of fiber in your diet to assist digestion and metabolism during your body building program.

You need to drink plenty of fresh water during your body building program to help hydrate the cells and prevent your body from using your muscle mass. The habit of consuming plenty of fresh water is a good way to maintain your health and bodily systems. Drinking water anytime you feel like it, especially between exercises to help replenish the water lost through sweating. To prevent the risk of injury to tendons and ligaments, you could hire a training instructor to help you develop the right lifting habits necessary for long term success of your body building efforts.

Low Fat Recipes

Low Fat Recipes: A Definition and Illustration

How would you convert a traditional recipe, conventional method, to a low
fat recipe? A simple enough question, with probably many correct answers.
There are many chefs, gourmets and industry experts that will all have
their 2 cents to throw into the ring as far as opinions go. Here is one
such example from baking a cake and baked treats, sugary goods, that
typically you would not think would qualify to fall into this category
per se or necessarily.

What is a delicious low calorie/low fat vanilla frosting recipe for
baking a cake for a birthday ? There are options. Even if you just opt to
use what you have in the pantry, a cake mix and do not have the time or
means to buy anything “healthier” while shopping for your groceries and
delivery of a quality end-product is paramount?

Are there any vanilla frosting mixes pre-made on the shelves that are low
calorie and low fat? And if not, is there possible a really good low fat
recipe to make something truly yummy? Nutritional information is
everything these days and you can spend some time reading the labels and
descriptors on foods, which in North America, by law have to list what,
how much etc. To carry the label of a low fat product or low fat recipe,
look for less than 3 grams of fat per single serving.

Solutions might include low fat recipe preparations and ingredients like
low fat cream cheese frosting by using fat free cream cheese instead of
the calorie-laden boxed or pre-packed, pre-mixed products.

The powdered sugar in most of these is going to seriously add the
calories, but not the fat! And that is the key to optimizing low fat
recipe cooking and baking.

Also opt to use lowfat milk to thin the mixture. For a really low fat
recipe solutions, really simple and easy, choose to rather use a “glaze”
instead

It will drip, run and cover, even trickling inviting down the sides of
the cake, inviting all to bite in and indulge a little. If you cannot
find or follow a low fat recipe that suits your needs, budget or
preference, some good advice would still be to make your personal
favorite, scrumptious cake (traditional favorite) and minimize the
portion sizes ? that means or translates into cutting smaller slices!

Low_Fat_Recipies/Low Fat Recipes A Definition and Illustration.txt

Posted in Ultimate Weight Loss Warrior, Weight Loss System

Body Building/Body-Building_6.txt

posted by Ultimate Weight Loss Warrior on Nov 20

« Previous Entries

Body Building/Body-Building_6.txt

Body building is very popular activity among youngsters and the older generations alike, but what exactly does this term define? Body building is a form of sports that people engage in to develop muscular, toned bodies through the use of controlled nutrition and diet plus intensive targeted physical training; this is mainly done for the purpose of developing a strong and muscular physique to look good or to compete in various body building competitions. Both professional bodybuilders and amateurs who are just starting out will soon develop those solid, toned muscles that everyone longs for. What are the main criteria to be observed in order to ensure you do meet all vital body building standards? To begin the discussion on this interesting topic, you would need to realize that there are two parts to an effective body building program, exercise and proper nutrition.

Weight lifting is the first element of a successful body building program. Regular weight lifting sessions is essential, so you would need physical strength and endurance to cope with the demands of the program. Today, not everyone that performs rigorous weight lifting exercises are doing it for competition or sports, some are only interested to develop a great physique. Weight lifting can assist those who need to recover from a serious injury, while toning and sculpting the body at the same time. Due to its miraculous health benefits, it is a good idea to incorporate it into a health and recuperation program.

The next element of a successful body building program is the use of proper diet. Complex carbohydrates are the main source of energy for the body. Select food that is rich in carbohydrates for that fast energy such as brown rice, sweet potato and oatmeal. Fiber is very important in your diet as it helps facilitate the easy digestion of consumed food and helps expel toxins from the body.

Without proper hydration, your body will start using the next available sources and you will find that your muscle mass will decrease. Start a healthy habit by drinking plenty of water just before you embark in a vigorous routine at the gym and pamper yourself by indulging in more refreshing water after a tiring session. It is
a healthier choice and good to have handy at all time.

- Buttermilk is another great low-fat recipe staple and substitute. If
your low fat instruction and method, ingredient list and recipe calls for
milk, try and experiment with rather using 1/3 of the oil called for
with buttermilk. Be sure to increase the baking powder by about 1/4
teaspoon, to replace lost volume.

Other great low fat recipe tips and success recommendations are:

- Coat your baking pans with flour or corn meal to prevent sticking –
you won’t have the added fat and calories of shortening or oil.
- Eggs are necessary for taste and consistency, but if you cut the
yolks you are opting for healthier options all-round. For low-fat recipe
options, rather choose, as per recipe three whole eggs with 1 whole egg
and 4 egg whites. This will easily knock off 10 grams of fat in the
process, without putting your end-product or quality at risk.
- Replace some of the whole eggs called for with 2 egg whites. Each
egg replaced with two egg whites will save 5 grams of fat.
- Use good teflon baking pans, reducing the amount of oil needed in
cooking/baking, with great results still and not sacrificing taste.

Low_Fat_Recipies/Low Fat Recipes Baking.txt

Posted in Ultimate Weight Loss Warrior, Weight Loss System

Body Building/Body-Building_61.txt

posted by Ultimate Weight Loss Warrior on Nov 14

« Previous Entries

Body Building/Body-Building_61.txt

What exactly is body building? Fat in terms of nutritional value and
content, has more than double the calories of carbohydrates and protein.
If you move away from or cut the fat so to speak, you are in fact giving
yourself more balanced nutrition, more choices and options to fill that
daily calorie count. Your diet does not have to be filled to the brim
with fats to be tasty either. There are many low fat alternatives and
recipes that will be good, if not better for your health all-round.

Most of the fatty, fried, fast-convenient type, even processed foods,
junk and fast food included, contain a high concentration of saturated
fats. These will typically increase your risk and levels of bad
cholesterol. This in turn can lead to immensely unhealthy eating habits
and even health, heart problems down the line, as you age.

There are numerous way that you can take advantage of reducing fat, going
the low-fat recipe and cookbook route. Always look for lower-fat
equivalents for many of the foods you eat, prepare and even products, raw
materials and ingredients that you buy.

You can make a smart substitute for almost all the high-fat foods in your
cart, cupboards, fridge, plate and oven! Here is how. Take milk, yoghurt,
cottage cheese, cream cheese, that have percentage ratings on them. These
range between 0%-4%. Calorie differences are great.

For 4% fat or whole milk, you are looking at 150 calories per 8 oz.
serving/portion
2% (reduced fat), the calories are 130, for 1% (low-fat) it is only 110
and for non-fat or skim milk (0% fat), 90 calories in same-size serving.

You can also not only reduce the fat, but eliminate it, through a
strategy of substitution of certain foods for others. Sour cream per
tablespoon holds 30 calories, while plain, low-fat yoghurt sports only 9
calories. Mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard (100, 16 and 5 calories
respectively). Dressings, toppings and sauces, additional things you plop
onto or add to food (yes even salad dressings!) add calories (and
pounds!). There are many other natural ways to flavor food with herbs,
seasonings and lemon juice for example. Leaner cuts of fish and meat are
better for you, the lighter the meat color, the lower the fat content.
Opt for cod, flounder and other white fish, over fatty, oily fish. Cut
off visible fats from foods prior to preparing and serving it.

Low_Fat_Recipies/Low Fat Recipes Cookbooks.txt

Posted in Ultimate Weight Loss Warrior, Weight Loss System

Body Building/Body-Building_63.txt

posted by Ultimate Weight Loss Warrior on Nov 8

« Previous Entries

Body Building/Body-Building_63.txt

The desire to develop strong, toned and attractive body have encouraged many to take up this popular form of sport, but what exactly is body building anyway?
